We've made a number of improvements to ensure that when payments are cancelled in RealDesk, these changes are accurately reflected in QBO by deleting the corresponding entries. Additionally, the Accounting Log will now show deleted entries in strikethrough text and note that the corresponding payment has been cancelled.
The drop-down to choose a preferred payment method (EFT or cheque) for each agent is no longer necessary. For any agent with bank account information populated, RealDesk will default to EFT as the payment method, and this can be overridden when paying the agent.
Resolved an issue that, in some cases, caused the buying side of a newly-created dual agency deal not to show as "under review" in the Transaction Room.

The Active Clients page will now load much more quickly. Instead of loading all of the underlying information about each client at the time Active Clients is clicked, we load only the names. When the user clicks on an individual client, we then load the information about previous deals, referrals, and so on.
Resolved an issue that, in some cases, caused users to be unable to delete an expense recovery option (e.g. credit card, PAD, etc.) from the menu in System Settings.

The realtor profile has a new look. This is a small redesign to accommodate some exciting new features that are coming soon!
Descriptions for journal entries relating to internal transfers have been corrected. Journal entries have also been added for "contra-flow" transfers (e.g. Commission Trust to Trust, or General to Trust) in cases where corrections are being made.
Resolved an issue that, in some cases, caused the emailed invoice to display without the proper formatting and styling.
On Expense Tracker, the "Recover Multiple Expenses" button has been hidden temporarily while we correct the functionality.

RealDesk will no longer create Invoices for outstanding expenses in QBO. An invoice and corresponding payment will be created simultaneously when the expense is marked paid in RealDesk.
Invoices to the other brokerage for referral deals will now correctly populate the address and email provided on the referral.
Other brokerage payments created from Trust will now default to Commission.
Resolved an issue where, in some cases, creating a tax-only payment (i.e., paying out only the tax portion of a commission payment) would not generate an EFT to the recipient in the EFT Payments screen.
Released: August 1, 2024
Some of our clients requested a means to be able to generate an invoice for developer deals and other scenarios in which it is necessary for the brokerage to generate an invoice for its full commission.
On the broker page for a given deal, the "Print Invoice" button has been changed to "Invoices". Now you can select from the existing agent invoice(s) in addition to a brokerage invoice to any of: the other brokerage; your client; or the seller. Unlike the agent invoice, this document will only list the full brokerage commission, without any splits, referrals, or deductions.
This is a new feature, still in early stages, and we welcome your feedback on how we can enhance it to accommodate more scenarios.
When updating an agent's profile, the Realtors screen will no longer refresh after hitting the Update button, meaning that any search filters in place will be preserved.
Previously, when using Create Payments to pay out a dual agency deal, both payments would be assigned the same deduction tier. Now, if a tier threshold will be crossed, either in terms of commissions earned or number of deals, the system will predict this event and adjust the applicable deductions accordingly.
Example: An agent is on a deduction scheme in which a $500 deal fee applies to deals 1-3, and a $200 fee for deals 4-10. The agent has already completed two deals and now is about to be paid out for a dual agency deal (which will be payments 3 and 4). Create Payments will assign a $500 deduction to the listing commission payment, and a $200 deduction to the buying commission payment.
Note: This only affected brokerages using a Trust/General configuration & paying agents from Trust.
Resolved an issue where, in some cases, the "payment to brokerage" would not create an EFT to the General account in the EFT Payments screen.
Resolved an issues where, in rare cases, the list of Unprocessed EFTs would be blank or not show all of the unprocessed payments.
