version 3 6 released may 15, 2025 features request deposits by email weβve just launched a new way to collect deposits thatβs faster, easier, and fully integrated with your realdesk workflow you can now send a secure deposit request email directly to buyers (or other parties) they click the link, connect their bank account, and submit the deposit by eft β no more paper cheques, bank drafts, or branch visits once the payment clears, the funds go straight into your trust account and the deposit is automatically posted in your books how it works go to the send/receive payments page for the deal click request deposit in the from tab, choose whoβs providing the deposit buyer(s) other if the buyer is a brokerage client, their name and email will auto fill (click update client information to add or adjust contact details if necessary ) otherwise, enter the name and email address enter the deposit amount (and edit memo/description if desired) click send request the recipient receives an email with a secure payment link, and can add their bank account details to initiate the funds transfer once submitted, the deposit will appear as βoutstandingβ until the eft clears, at which point the trust account is automatically updated and the bookkeeping entry is created pricing note this feature is currently available at no cost while we assess demand and finalize long term pricing if a convenience fee is introduced in the future, youβll receive advance notice β and weβre committed to keeping it lower than comparable services like payload improvements automated agent expense statements and expense recovery options we've extended the options available for delivering expense statements to agents statements can be sent on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis weekly statements are sent every monday morning, and include all outstanding expenses up to and including sunday at 11 59pm monthly statements are sent on the 1st of each month, and include all outstanding expenses up to and including the last day of the previous month at 11 59pm quarterly statements are sent on january 1, april 1, july 1, and october 1, and include all outstanding expenses up to and including the previous day at 11 59pm all agents with outstanding expenses will receive statements, regardless of whether or not they have a credit or debit card on file automated expense recovery (using either credit or debit card, which can be set for each agent) can be conducted on a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis alternatively, if statements are being sent as in step 1, recovery can be configured to occur automatically a given number of days after statements are sent for example, if monthly statements are sent on the 1st of the month, expenses can automatically be recovered 1 7 days later depending on your preference these settings need to be configured by realdesk support β if you'd like to take advantage of these options, reach out and we'll get you set up in minutes!
